Hello dear friends and family!
Here is a short version of the long few weeks it’s been since we last wrote:
Czech Lessons
We have completed 2 weeks of Czech lessons now, and we’re really enjoying it. It’s daunting, but our teacher is excellent, kind, and makes it a fun process.
English Camp

The English Camp was a huge success, tons of fun, exhausting, and fruitful. There’s a lot that could be said about that, but just know your prayers are being answered.
Visas
Please pray for the last step (we think) of our visa process. Everything is approved and good to go, but we haven’t received back our passports and documentation yet. There have been a few hurdles.
Counseling Club

We’ve had a ‘soft opening’ of a Counseling Club we want to develop here at BSKK. We did it for the second week on Wednesday, hosting at our house. We will read, watch, and listen to material ahead of each meeting, and then gather to discuss the material as we attempt to apply it to the context of this church and this country. We pray this serves to equip members of BSKK for accurately handling God’s word in each other’s lives.
Preaching
Jared gets another chance to preach this weekend at BSKK.
He’s ‘pinch-hitting’ for the other main teachers who were on a long canoe trip with the youth/families, who have all come back pretty sick. He’ll preach a brief overview of Acts, emphasising how the power of the Holy Spirit and God’s word work mightily through God’s church when his people are faithful (Acts 6:7; 9:31; 12:24; 16:5; 19:20). God’s power is always at work in many ways, but Acts shows God is especially interested in seeing his word spread, his people strengthened, and the elect saved.
Pray for the church to be compelled toward a unified heart, mind and will as a result of hearing God’s word taught.
Misc…

That’s all for now! We are so grateful for your prayers and support.
