Family Time

We’re in Walla Walla, Washington right now. We are visiting Jared’s grandma. Some of Jared’s immediate family is here too.

We got a great little AirBnb and woke up early this morning to go watch the hot air balloons take off at 6am for Walla Walla’s annual Balloon Festival.

We’ll head home Saturday morning to catch our 3rd-to-last Sunday service at Faith Bible Church.

House Viewing

Marcus Denny checked out a house for us yesterday in a an area near the outskirts of Prague, CZ. Everything about it is really great. The things we need to consider are: It’s at the mid-to-top of our budget for a rental; it’s a little further from the church than we hoped for, but a perfect half-way distance between our Czech lessons and the church. It’s also very close to a bus station. It’s not furnished.

We factored in each of these things in our preparations a year ago – such as the possibility of needing to furnish a home, so it doesn’t come as a surprise. At this point we’re just considering whether we wait for another good option or go with this one. We are 18 days out from leaving, after all…

Prayers for wisdom and timely decision-making appreciated.

Forty Dollars

Since our last update 5 days ago, we went from needing $150 more a month to needing $40 more a month! Praise God! Things like this only add to the excitement as we are eager to be in the Czech Republic.
